Flatiron
Neighborhood—New York City
Known for its 285 foot tall steel framed landmark, the Flatiron Building, the Flatiron District has more than meets the eye. Home to some of New York City’s prestigious luxury condominium complexes, this sometimes overlooked neighborhood is actually one that should not be missed.
Many popular restaurants and boutiques have made this district their home over the years such as Sugarfish, Jean George’s abc kitchen, and many of Danny Meyer’s famously known restaurants such as Union Square Cafe to name a few. Locals and visitors alike spend time at well-known Italian culinary bazaar, Eataly.
Madison Square Park makes for a lush addition to the neighborhood for an early morning walk or a beautiful evening stroll. The Flatiron District also borders the more quiet and residential Gramercy Park, which is home to many local spots and attractions.
